A really lovely thought provoking harvest service today. All classes contributed to the service and a beautiful autumnal song from our choir.
Macmillan Coffee Morning at School today - so many cakes 🧁 it was lovely to see families enjoying a tea or coffee and a chat before school. Children worked hard baking and their effort was amazing - a winner was picked for each year group. Well done to everybody involved.
Class 3 enjoyed an afternoon of Easter experiences with our friends at Ashbourne Methodist Church.
Clifton pupils understand that litter damages the environment and is a danger to wildlife. So we were delighted to take part in the Keep Britain Tidy school litter pick on a beautiful spring day in Clifton! We collected more than 13kgs of rubbish - well done everyone!
Clifton's School Council helped to organise a fun event on Comic Relief Day: wear pyjamas and buy cake to raise funds. Well done everyone 😆!
Every year before Shrovetide, Tim and Simon kindly visit us at Clifton to show the balls they've painted and share all their fabulous facts and stories. We love asking them lots of questions!

Whole school visit to Elim Pentecostal Church. The children took part in Worship and wrote thoughtful messages to be added to the food bank donations over Christmas.
After many, many years as Clifton School's caretaker, Mrs Gadsby has retired. We had a bit of a 'do' for her: she was showered with kind words, cards and gifts too. Goodbye and thank you Mrs Gadsby!

'Heroes of Troy' - the Year 4,5 & 6 children put on a wonderful summer performance. The singing, dancing and acting was sensational! Well done!
We all enjoyed performing at QEGS.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful performance of 'The Wind in the Willows'. We were delighted by fabulous acting, costumes and scenery. We loved the comedy and fun. Best of all, we sang as the chorus and some pupils even helped out by performing as supporting actors!
