In Science we mixed plaster powder with water to make a new solid plaster material. We noticed that the chemical reaction caused the plaster to be warm -fascinating!
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE! We enjoyed a workshop with Derbyshire Waste Education officer Emma. There was lots to learn, particularly about electrical waste.

In Science we planned and carried out a fair test investigation to find out whether a selection of solid materials are soluble or insoluble: sand, salt, sugar, flour, bicarbonate of soda, coffee, soil, wood, margarine, chalk and sweets! It was a very busy lesson...
